Job Description: Digital Media Ad Operations Specialist
Position Overview:
The Digital Media Ad Operations Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across various platforms and channels. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of digital media advertising operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and delivery of key performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute end-to-end campaign management, including ad trafficking, creative asset management, and quality assurance across multiple ad platforms.
2. Monitor and analyze campaign performance data to identify optimization opportunities and make data-driven recommendations.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign objectives, targeting strategies, and creative assets align with business goals.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ad serving, tracking, and tagging.
5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ad formats, and digital media technologies to ensure best practices are implemented.
6. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with advertising policies, privacy regulations, and industry standards.
7. Generate and distribute accurate campaign performance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
8. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, including ad networks, publishers, and technology vendors.
9. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
2. Minimum of X years of experience in digital media ad operations or a similar role.
3. Proficient in using ad management platforms such as DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Google Ad Manager, or similar.
4. Extensive knowledge of ad serving technologies, ad tags, tracking pixels, and third-party ad verification tools.
5. Strong understanding of digital advertising metrics, including CPM, CPC, CPA, and ROI.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines and objectives.
8. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
10. Solid understanding of digital media landscape, industry trends, and best practices.
11. Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and other web technologies is a plus.
12. Certifications in digital advertising platforms (such as Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, or Facebook Blueprint) are highly desirable.
